Frequently asked questions

Accounts, versions, installation and files.

Where should I start?

To edit a plugin’s settings, choose a configurator. To create an interface, open In-game interfaces, create a window and add pages. Then use CUI Editor for detailed layer edits. Looking for a plugin to install? Browse our plugins.

Do I need an account?

Not to configure a plugin, create an interface or export files. A free account lets you save projects; saving to your account is optional. Server management requires an account and your server credentials.

What is free?

CUI Editor, configurators and their exports are free. Paid plugins are sold separately.

Which plugin version should I choose?

Choose the number installed on your server. A beta may differ from the published release. Changing versions does not convert your file. See the configuration guide.

My plugin has no configurator. What can I do?

Its form is not available yet. If “Request a form” appears in the catalogue, sign in to submit a request. The team prepares and reviews forms manually, with no guaranteed timeframe. See the configuration guide.

How do I resume an existing configuration?

Click Import, then choose From my server, From my files or From My projects. To read from the server, select the offered files and confirm loading them. Selecting a server does not replace the open document. Properties not shown by the form are preserved.

Are my files saved on the site?

Save keeps a private copy of your project in your account without installing it on your server. Drafts stay in this browser and can be removed when browser data is cleared. Export files to keep a copy on your device. To retrieve previous imports, use Imports in this browser in the catalogue. Server transfers also have private backups.

Which CUI Editor export should I choose?

Project JSON lets you resume editing. The package is intended for the PimpMyCUI plugin installed on the server. If another plugin’s configurator offers an editable CUI, apply changes back to it, then export the indicated appearance files. These may be part of the configuration or separate files. See the editor guide.

Can the site install files on my server?

Yes, for supported plugins and files. With SFTP, Install sends the plugin file offered in the Hub; Send to server transfers your settings after you review the target and changes. With RCON, you can then reload the plugin. Some plugins need manual installation or dependencies. For a Codefling purchase, link your account by private message, confirm your profile, then refresh purchases. To download or install using an already linked Codefling purchase, it must have been verified within the past 24 hours. Configuration, data and language exports remain free.

Are ItemCreator and Puzzle Studio available?

Not yet. Their product pages describe coming products, but their editors and downloads remain closed. PimpMyCUI Editor is available now, without an account.

Where can I get help?

Read the documentation for the same version as your plugin, or ask the plugin assistant · external GPT to explain documented settings. Do not send it passwords or API keys.
