Schedule an announcement or command

Automate an announcement or command with a server routine.

Before you start
  • A PimpMyRust account and a server you are authorized to manage.
  • An Oxide server with the companion connected and a reversible test action.

Follow the steps

  1. Select the server and check in Routines → PimpMyRust companion connection that the companion responds. Also check the access shown for your account.
  2. Create a routine with a trigger and a simple action, such as a test announcement. Review the schedule, time zone where offered, conditions and action order. A wait within a sequence delays the following actions.
  3. Save, then wait for server confirmation. A saved form alone does not confirm that the routine was installed.
  4. Test really executes the actions: confirm only when their effect is intended. Read the result, then pause or remove a routine created for this test and wait for server confirmation.
