Plugin instructions
Remover Tool 4.3.47
Remover Tool is an upstream uMod building and entity removal plugin. This Hub bundle models the complete constructor-generated 4.3.47 configuration and the shapes of the maps populated from the current Rust server build; it does not install or redistribute the plugin.
Authorization and removal scope
Review Settings carefully. Teams, Clans, Friends, entity owners, locks, tool cupboards, and the optional BuildingOwners plugin change authorization decisions. Use Tool Cupboards (Strongly unrecommended) carries that warning in the upstream configuration. Enabling broad owner/cupboard rules can let users remove more than intended.
Permission Settings (Just for normal type) is a dynamic dictionary keyed by Oxide permission. Priority, distance, cooldown, duration, interval, object limit, payment, refund and timer reset are security- and economy-sensitive. The default contains removertool.normal; custom permission profiles must retain the exact value shape. Remove Type Settings controls Normal, Structure, All, Admin and External scopes. Structure/All removal is destructive and its per-frame value affects load. Test on a non-production server and keep backups.
Containers, damage, prices and refunds
Container Settings decides whether non-empty inventories are allowed, dropped as items, or dropped as an item container. Misaligned combinations can surprise players or lose expected contents. Remove Damaged Entities adds a health threshold and exclusions; lowering the percentage broadens removal eligibility.
Remove Info (Refund & Price) controls payments and refunds. A price/refund value may be a numeric percentage, a currency dictionary, or null. Each currency entry has exact amount and skinId keys. Allowed Building Grade, display names, building blocks, grades and other entity settings are dynamic maps. Validate economy-provider keys such as economics and serverrewards, and test rounding/refund behavior before deployment.
Modes, effects, integrations and GUI
Only one held-item/tool mode is intended to work at a time. Item shortnames and skin IDs must match Rust. Gib effects, bulk removal, intervals, maximum counts, cooldown exclusion, spawn-time limits and debug logging are advanced because they affect safety or performance. NoEscape can block use during raids or combat when that plugin is present. Upstream suggests Clans, RustIOClans, Economics, ServerRewards, Friends, ImageLibrary and RustTranslationAPI; none is mandatory in the manifest.
GUI is raw Rust CUI data, not PimpMyCUI/PimpMyCUI Editor. The automatic form cannot preview anchors, offsets, RGBA strings or remote images. Treat image URLs as external resources and verify their availability/privacy.
Runtime-generated maps and automatic form limits
On first server initialization, 4.3.47 fills Building Blocks Settings from the current Rust construction definitions and Other Entity Settings from current deployables, then saves the file. Those entries vary with the Rust build and installed content, so the portable default keeps both maps empty while the schema accepts and validates every generated entry without dropping it. The plugin also populates allowed building grades at runtime. Import the server-generated JSON after first startup when you need to edit those exact entries.
The generic form does not render arbitrary dictionaries, nested grade/currency maps, union-valued price/refund fields, or the full GUI layout. Use lossless JSON for those sections. Fixed objects reject unknown keys; dynamic maps declare their value schemas explicitly, and this third-party CUI is not delegated to Studio.
Compatibility and update evidence
This bundle declares Oxide only. Carbon is not claimed because no concrete compatibility test was available for this review. Upstream: uMod page, official manifest, pinned source 4.3.47 under MIT, observed 2026-08-02.
