/// SUPPORTED THIRD-PARTY PLUGIN

Furnace Splitter

Free guide for configuring this third-party plugin in the Hub. To install it, use its plugin page or official source.

Prepare your file

  1. Check the installed version

This guide describes Furnace Splitter 2.5.4. Use the same version in the configurator.

  2. Get the settings

Click Import, then From my server. Select the files and confirm loading them. Selecting a server does not replace the open document. You can also import files from this device or a configuration from My projects.

  3. Edit and send

Adjust settings, fix errors, then use Send to transfer files to the selected server. A conflict blocks sending until you choose how to resolve it. You can still export only the files you need.

Server transfers have private backups. Save keeps your work in My projects; it does not send anything to the server. A download also lets you resume without a server connection.

Plugin instructions

Furnace Splitter 2.5.4

Furnace Splitter distributes cookable items across oven slots and shows furnace information. Install it on an Oxide Rust server and grant furnacesplitter.use to players who should use it. UI Scale Manager is optional and is the only suggested dependency in the pinned uMod release.

Configuration

  • UiPosition.x and UiPosition.y place the built-in Rust CUI. They are ordinary numeric fields; this CUI is not PimpMyCUI.
  • savePlayerData persists each player's enabled state and preferred stack count. Disabling it avoids retaining those preferences.
  • ovens is a dynamic map keyed by an oven short prefab name. * is the default fallback. Each entry has enabled and fuelMultiplier; the plugin may add discovered oven entries at runtime, so preserve unknown map keys in JSON.

Changing UI coordinates can move the panel off-screen. Non-positive or very large fuel multipliers are not rejected by the pinned source and can produce impractical fuel calculations; test changes on a non-production server.

Target file: oxide/config/FurnaceSplitter.json. Editing the configuration does not change its separate player data file. Use Install to install from uMod on an SFTP-connected server.

License evidence conflicts as observed on 2026-08-02: the official uMod page displays the MIT license, while the official machine-readable uMod manifest reports gpl3 (GPL-3.0). This bundle records both and does not treat either as definitive while the official sources disagree.

Install the files

With a connected server, click Send in the configurator. The result shows whether the files were sent and the plugin reloaded. Without RCON, reload the plugin from your server panel after sending.

Without a connected server: Keep a copy of the current files. Place each export in the folder shown before export, or follow the paths in the ZIP. Do not put data or translation files in the config folder.

Follow the plugin instructions above for dependencies and reloading. Exporting does not connect the site to your server.
