Configure a plugin
Choose a plugin with an available configurator in the Hub catalogue.
Choose the installed version
Find the plugin in the Hub catalogue, click Configure and choose the version installed on your server. Forms are prepared for the versions listed.
If ‘Request a form’ appears instead of Configure, sign in to submit a request. The team prepares and reviews the form manually, with no guaranteed timeframe. Changing versions does not convert your configuration.
Start with your current settings
If your account has a server with SFTP access, select it as your destination. The configurator automatically reads its files when opened; an existing draft is not replaced without your consent. Manage my servers →
With local files, click Import in the configurator. Select your JSON or a ZIP containing settings and translations. Check the file list before confirming replacement.
For a new installation, use the proposed values or import the JSON created by the plugin on your server.
Edit the settings you need
Sections and search help you find a field. Use Languages to edit messages and Appearance for interfaces supported by the configurator.
If the plugin has several configuration files, choose the one to edit in File. Each file keeps its own settings.
Fix reported errors before exporting or sending. Values not shown by the form are retained and remain accessible in JSON. Validation and preview do not replace testing the plugin in Rust.
Send or export the files
Export downloads the files to install: JSON for one file, ZIP for multiple files. The ZIP retains configuration and language folders.
With SFTP, Apply sends the files declared for that plugin to the selected server after validation and conflict checks. With RCON, you can choose to reload after transfer. The result distinguishes transfer from activation; then check the plugin in game.
In the configurator’s Server panel, you can check ‘Send my changes automatically’ for that page. After a pause in editing, only valid files are sent. A conflict or error stops transfer; the plugin is not reloaded after each change. Closing the page ends this tracking.
Configuring a plugin and exporting its files does not require an account. A free account is needed to connect and manage your servers.
Configuration does not include the .cs plugin. Purchases remain on Codefling. To download or install a paid binary offered by PimpMyRust, link your account by private message, confirm the profile found and refresh your purchases; only the exact verified purchase grants access. Configuration, data and language exports remain free.
Retrieve your previous imports
Automatic form creation has stopped. Your previous imports remain in this browser: open Saved files in the catalogue to download them.
